Lionel Messi scored four times for Barcelona to upstage Cristiano Ronaldo as the world's two best players warmed up for midweek's El Clasico in style.
Messi moved past 200 career goals in La Liga as he almost single-handedly destroyed Osasuna, Barca running out 5-1 winners at the Nou Camp.

Earlier, Ronaldo hit a second-half hat-trick in Madrid's 4-0 home win over Getafe.
The pair will go head to head on Wednesday in the first leg of their Copa Del Rey semi-final at the Bernabeu. On Sunday night they both had things very much their own way.

MEANWHILE, IN ITALY...
Teenager Mauro Icardi scored four goals in Sampdoria's 6-0 demolition of Pescara. He was born in the same city as Lionel Messi and benefited from Barcelona's youth programme.
He moved to Spain with his parents as a six-year-old and joined Barca's renowned La Masia youth academy in 2008. Instead, he moved to Sampdoria in January 2011.
Messi scored twice in each half, his second a penalty, as runaway league leaders Barcelona swept aside their 10-man opponents.
Pedro was also on target for the Catalans, while Raoul Loe briefly levelled for Osasuna before Alejandro Arribas' sending-off after 27 minutes made their task an almost impossible one.
Ronaldo's treble added to Sergio Ramos' opener for Madrid.
