Demba Ba scored his first Chelsea goal – 697 minutes QUICKER than it took Fernando Torres to open his account for the club.
In the 35th minute against Southampton, Juan Mata ran in between two players and chipped the ball over the on-rushing Artur Boruc and Ba ran through to smash the ball in practically on the goal-line.
And the Ivorian doubled his tally in the 61st minute to make it 4-1 as Chelsea took complete control of the tie.

It's a lot swifter start to his Chelsea career than his new Spanish team-mate after he joined the club in 2011.
It took Torres 14 matches, or 732 minutes, or 12 hours and 12 minutes, to score his first goal in a Chelsea shirt following his £50million move from Liverpool.
Opening his account: Ba praises Juan Mata for his assist
That was his only goal in 19 matches for Chelsea that campaign and he has only added another 25 in the other season and a half he has been at the club.
He finally netted on April 23, 2011, in the 84th minute of Chelsea' 3-0 home victory against West Ham. He came off the bench to turn inside the box and send a left-foot shot past Robert Green. He was mobbed by his team-mates in the pouring rain.
